Recently we had received information that Morristown Medical Center was looking for donations of baby monitors for their doctors and nurses in an effort to help minimize exposure to patients that are being treated for Covid-19.
If you or anyone that you know may have a baby monitor at home that you are not using and would like to make a donation, we are accepting them at our Wavelength Audio Video store location at 30 Olcott Square in Bernardsville, NJ. There will be two bins placed outside 24 hours a day which will be rotated to the hospital as donation come in.
We do ask that if you are able to donate a used baby monitor please follow these few steps to aid in the process of implementing them for the doctors and nurses:
1. Test it Out
Please make sure that the baby monitor works properly so that nurses and doctors do not have to stand time on that.
2. Check Wires
Please make sure that the appropriate power wires are included and they are safely wrapped up.
3.Place in Plastic Bag
Please place the monitor in a plastic bag and tie the top of it.
If you would like to make a financial donation you can do so on the donation form below.
All proceeds will be used directly for purchasing new baby monitors and they will be donated to Morristown Medical Center. Once they have reached their capacity we will donate any remaining baby monitors to the nearest hospital that is also in need of them.
Thank you so much for your generosity and kindness. We hope you all of you stay safe and healthy
Help a Hospital Baby Monitor Program
Hospitals are increasingly coming up with methods to safeguard their staff from COVID-19 infection. Recently, hospitals are using baby monitors to check in and help manage a safe distance while caring for infected patients. Help us by dropping off used and working baby monitors or send in a monetary donation so that we can purchase monitors. The more we can raise, the more hospitals we can help.
